The web world is maturing. Not so long ago, businesses would employ a designer to create them a website "just to have one". The end result didn't really matter.

How things change. Now, a business can live or die by its web presence. If a potential customer visits your site and finds it's not professional, they'll likely dismiss you and move on to your competitors. All it takes is a click of a mouse.

Hobart Design understands the importance of a good website. We'll design your site from scratch to suit your market (no two of our websites are ever the same). A large proportion of the design process is the intial consultation: we'll make sure we understand what you need before the concept design starts.

Is it expensive?

Like any time-based service, it's difficult to give an accurate quote before we know exactly what you need. Often, we'll give a ballpark of around $1500 for design, and the same again for the site programming. Small sites may be considerably cheaper; complex sites could be more.

Once we understand your requirements, we can give you an accurate written quote. There's no obligation, and we're sure you'll find the price competitive for an equivalent level of design.

How do we proceed?

Better yet, if you think you've got your materials together (ie: logo, photos, text) you can fill out our questionnaire. This will tell us what we need to know to provide you with a quote.

Once you've approved the quote and supplied your materials, we'll do a home page concept for you to review. From there, the site only proceeds once everyone's happy with this design direction.

The result will be a website that's professional, unique, and a valuable asset to your business.
